From Meh to Oh My to Oh Well

The Apple Event started out as a Meh! moment but the more I thought about I really saw the use of it and when they presented the price it really felt like an instant buy. Still waiting to see the calculated price in Sweden though.

On the other hand I don't want more stuff, I want specialized stuff. I've got an iPhone already which I use all the time and will probably be better off with a giant iMac at home instead to complement my mobile solution.

One more thing - for the iPad to be successful Apple need to fill iTunes up with content, even outside the US. And by content I mean movies, books and papers.

I love Evernote

I don't know how many times I've found my self thinking "I want to keep this somehow" while surfing some site, watching a picture, taking a photo or whatever but I know that I've been thinking "I can use Evernote for that" almost just as many times. I've also found myself thinking "I wonder if there's a fast way for doing it and the answer has been "yes" impressively often.

The latest occasion was while surfing through the Euro IA schedule for next week and I right clicked and chose Add page to Evernote. It works just as easy with pictures, pdf's and whatever. Just throw it in there. And the best part is that it automatically synchs between the computer, Iphone and web.

Forgive me for talking like a salesman, but I've just found a new favorite app. As a usability person I'm extremely curious about the research behind this thing. I guess I'm pretty much in the middle of their target group.

Take a look at this video and go to evernote.com to try see if you're a fan too.
